For distributors
The whole rangein one case
Keeping every model you represent in demo stock is not realistic. A digital twin turns that around: the entire portfolio inside one headset, on the customer’s desk.
A distributor’stwo bottlenecks
The first is showing the product: customers do not decide without seeing the machine, but keeping every model in demo stock ties up capital. The result is that only a few models in the portfolio can really be shown.
The second is training: sales teams, service teams and dealers all have to explain the same product with the same accuracy. Without central training, every dealer tells their own version and the brand message drifts.
A digital twin solves both from one place. The model is produced once; the sales presentation and the service training are written on top of it.
Whatchanges
Demo stock stops tying up capital
No physical unit to hold, ship or store for demonstrations. The whole portfolio becomes showable at once.
A ready demonstration on every customer visit
The headset travels in a case; in a meeting room you can stand next to the machine, open the panels, change the configuration.
The dealer network trains on identical content
The same scenario goes to every dealer. When the product is revised, the changed step is updated centrally and everyone sees the same information the same day.
Service teams are trained from the centre
Fault and teardown scenarios reach a distant dealer’s technician exactly as they reach anyone else; the expert does not travel for every fault.
How it runs
Portfolio selection
The full range is not modelled at once. The two or three most-shown, most-asked-about models become the pilot scope.
Pilot: 2–3 modelsBrand approval and data
Model data and technical accuracy come from the manufacturer. The brand owner’s approval is what lets the content count as certified.
Manufacturer dataPresentation and training scenarios
Two layers are written on the same model: a guided presentation tour for sales, fault scenarios for service.
Two layersRollout to the network
Content is distributed centrally, and session reports show which dealer completed which training.

What it takes to start
In distributor projects, speed depends on the state of the data coming from the manufacturer.
- Model data (CAD) from the manufacturer, or permission to 3D scan
- Content approval from the brand owner
- Two or three models for the pilot scope
- A few dealer sites to pilot with
- One contact each on the sales and service side
Frequently asked
What if the manufacturer will not share CAD data?
With the brand owner’s permission the physical machine can be measured by 3D scanning. Without permission we do not take the project on: modelling someone else’s product without consent is both a legal and a commercial problem.
We distribute several brands — can they share one platform?
Yes. The platform is shared, the models are separate. Each brand’s content sits behind its own access rule, so a dealer only sees the brands they are authorised for.
Does it work at a fair with no internet?
It does. The presentation sits on the headset as a local package; where there are several participants, the session runs over the local network.
