Not a simulator,a session system
Most industrial VR work is set up as a one-person show: put on the headset, watch something, take it off. Nothing is left behind — no record, no result.
Synaps is built around the session instead. The instructor starts it, participants join by headset or computer, the scenario advances as ordered tasks, and the time, errors and completion of every step are recorded. When the session ends you hold a report.
Modular means this: the digital twin is produced once and the scenarios written on top of it multiply. The model you build for a presentation becomes the ground for operator training the following month.

One scenario,three platforms
The same scenario runs three different ways. Which one you use depends on where the participants are and how many headsets you have.

VR headset
The participant enters the scene with a headset; they grab the part, remove it, put it back. The training lands in muscle memory too.

Desktop
Anyone without a headset follows the same scenario from a computer and takes on tasks. Headset count does not cap the group size.

Remote
An instructor and a participant in different cities meet in the same session. Training requires no travel and no accommodation.

Local network
In a facility without internet access, the session runs over the local network. Data never leaves the site.
The session ends,the measurement stays
An attendance sheet shows the training happened; only measurement shows it was learned. Synaps turns the session itself into data.
Time
How long each step took is kept separately. A participant stuck on one step shows up in the report before their name comes up elsewhere.
Errors
Not just “got it wrong”, but which kind: wrong order, wrong part, skipped step, missed check.
Completion
Completion rate per scenario. Read together with the repeat count, it draws a competence curve.
Comparison
Participants who ran the same scenario, and one participant’s own repeats, sit side by side.

Participants meet at the same machine; one takes it apart while another follows the sequence. Task sharing is written into the scenario itself.

Is Synaps a ready-made scenario library?
No. The platform is shared; the scenarios are written for you. The source is your assembly instructions, maintenance procedures and risk assessment. Common safety topics can start from accelerator templates, but the content is still adapted to the plant.
Can one digital twin serve more than one purpose?
Yes — that is what modular really means here. The model produced for a presentation becomes the ground for operator training, technical service and safety scenarios. The model is built once; the scenarios on top of it multiply.
Our plant has no internet. Does it work?
It does. The session runs over the local network and the data never leaves the site. Internet is only needed for two things: content updates and joining from another city.
How many people can join at once?
Two to four participants share a scene in one session. Those without a headset follow the same scenario from a desktop, so group size is not capped by headset count.
Who owns the session data?
You do. In local network mode it never leaves the site; when the cloud is used the records still belong to your organisation and export to your own system through SCORM or xAPI.
